I am a fifth year PhD student in the Accounting Department at the University of Texas. I am interested in using math and statistics to understand how accounting enables society to function efficiently. I like playing with simulations, formal models, and real world data.
I enjoy thinking about how the systematic collection, organization, and use of information can make commerce more efficient.
Before entering the PhD program at UT-Austin, I studied math and statistics at the University of Chicago. When I’m not thinking about accounting, I like to cook, go to the lake, and watch anything with Tina Fey in it.
